He sang at the 912 Taxpayer March on the Capitol, but we were so far back that we couldn't make out the words. Great sentiments. Check out the 2010 countdown clock to the right. To totally co-opt a campaign slogan, "Yes, we can (vote them out)."

The (FREE) Obama Phone. Really
This is real. You too, can qualify for an Obama Phone from SafeLink Wireless, a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income-elibible customers (CUSTOMERS -- how can you be a CUSTOMER if YOU don't pay for the service?!).
Does anyone remember the touching soup kitchen photo of Michelle serving the "indigent" earlier this year? While she was wearing $540 designer sneakers, what was most telling, was the homeless gentleman in the foreground who was quite happily taking a photo of FLOTUS using his (likely FREE, courtesy of you and I) Blackberry.
This is where our taxpayer dollars are going. It's yet another way to redistribute the wealth from Workers to Worthless.

College Thesis: 'So-Called Founders Didn't Allow for Economic Freedom'
Lots of conversation about the latest quote, thought, opinion, words... attributed to Obama. Even if it cannot be documented, does anyone doubt his antipathy toward our Nation? I wonder if Obama has even read the Constitution. Does he own a personal copy? How about the Federalist Papers? Maybe read or watched John Adams by David McCullough or 1776 by the same author?
How many reading this can say yes to AT LEAST one of those questions? How many can quote our "So-Called Founders" AND know the context of the quote? Then discuss and defend at great length. I'm willing to bet that many, many more Americans are reading our Constitution today. A document that not only provided a framework of governance, but also anticipated the assaults on our freedom that would inevitably occur. And are upon us now--
How amazing that our Founding Fathers could devise a system of government that can withstand the test of time... and of tyrants.

Obama's Health Rationer in Chief
White House health-care adviser Ezekiel Emanuel blames the Hippocratic Oath for the 'overuse' of medical care. From the Wall Street Journal Online. by Betsy McCaughey
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, health adviser to President Barack Obama, is under scrutiny. As a bioethicist, he has written extensively about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. Dr. Emanuel is part of a school of thought that redefines a physician’s duty, insisting that it includes working for the greater good of society instead of focusing only on a patient’s needs. Many physicians find that view dangerous, and most Americans are likely to agree.
In fact, Dr. Emanuel makes a clear choice: "When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get changes that are attenuated

Florida Plan Will Bar Some Patients in Event of Severe Flu Pandemic
From the Florida Sun Sentinel Florida health officials are drawing up guidelines that recommend barring patients with incurable cancer, end-stage multiple sclerosis and other conditions from being admitted to hospitals if the state is overwhelmed by flu cases.
In many states, public and advocacy input has been largely absent. Groups of doctors, lawyers and ethicists have hammered out the plans with little engagement with the public or with groups that represent children, the elderly and those with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
The plan, which would guide Florida hospitals on how to ration scarce medical care during a severe flu outbreak, also calls for doctors to remove patients with poor prognoses from ventilators to treat those who have better chances of surviving. That decision would be made by the hospital.

The Internet as the Post Office?
Read more at BigGovernment.com. Why force the private Internet to be as inefficient as the old public post office? By Scott Cleland.
Net Neutrality -- Is a Washington Takeover of the Internet Next?
Net neutrality sounds simple--force phone and cable companies to treat every bit of information the same way--until you realize that modern networks are incredibly complex, with millions of lines of code in every router. Making sure services like VoIP, video conferencing, and telemedicine (not to mention the next great thing that hasn't been invented yet) get priority may be necessary to make the Internet work. But the government is working to do just the opposite.

Is Obama Poised to Cede US Sovereignty at Copenhagen
On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic, gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty, scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.

White House admits: We 'control' news media
Communications chief offers shocking confession to foreign government. Complete coverage here.
TEL AVIV – President Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.
"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn. Complete coverage here.
